Bookshop by the Sea book review

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bookshop by the Sea was almost an impulse buy, and this was money well spent! I love the plot with the wedding and the bookshop opening it was just great. Sophie's siblings though, got on my nerves, so I can understand why Aiden had those feelings about them, but what he did because of them was rash and unneeded. Also, just the amazing small-town vibes were great! The ending to all (I say all, I have only read 2 of them) of Denise Hunter's books are perfection and I wish all books could end like hers! And 1 other fun little tidbit is that her characters are Atlanta Braves fans! I loved this book and if you like clean, Christian, beachy town romances, this one is for you!

Falling for my Best Friends Twin book review

⭐⭐⭐  I read this book thinking oh this will be such a cute book! It had its cute moments, but there was more cringe than swoon. And that's where they lost me.  I feel like this book could have been so much better, just without the awkward parts. I did like their chemistry, and I loved Abby's hair. Those 2 things are probably the only reason it has 3 stars. I read this book thinking this would be a clean, easy, cute read and to be honest, it slightly disappointed me.

P.S. I Like You book review

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ P.S. I Like You is the book that got me hooked on Kasie West and is definitely in my top 3 favorite books I have ever read! The first time I ever read this book I was probably 12, maybe? And I just remember giggling and grinning like a fool through the entire book.  Their banter and chemistry (which is a joke you will get when you read the book) and just the plot in general, is amazing and makes me wish that they were both real people! When they were writing each other, *happy sigh* it's just amazing.  It is a clean romcom for any age; that I will always recommend. Kasie West books never fail.

Your Something Blue book review

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐       This book was amazing! I expected it to be good, but not that good! It was a clean, Christian, contemporary romance book that I really enjoyed! I feel like it could have been better by slowing it down some just so we could really enjoy their banter and to make it feel a bit more real, but overall, I enjoyed it. In the description I read it said for fans of Kasie West (one of her books is next) and I love her and have most of her books! But great news, it did not disappoint! I would say it is enjoyable for any age range. I hope you enjoy it as much as a did!

The best red velvet cookie recipe!

This is it! The best red velvet cookie recipe! Ok, to be totally honest this is my first time ever making red velvet cookies but, they are delish! So why try any other when these are great?! They turned out very red and I didn't even add the full 2 tbsps! I am planning to try and make them without the food dye too. So that those that can't have food dye can have them too! Also, I accidentally over baked them even though, it says not to so, make sure not to over bake! Enjoy!         Red Velvet Cookies - I Heart Eating

Meet Me!

Hi! I am Ellie and a Christian 14-year-old! I love reading and baking, so this blog is going to be all recipes and book reviews! Some of these recipes I came up with, some I found, and others are family recipes. Book, wise I prefer clean, Christian romance. Nothing too scary or bloody. I know, I'm a wimp. I was reading a book where she had book blog and I was like, "Huh. I feel like I could do that." So, here I am! Hope you like it! P.S. It say's Louise because that's my mom ;)
